In many estates, it is common for an executor to take charge, file the paperwork, and leave the beneficiaries and would-be beneficiaries in the dark.  While we counsel our executors to be forthcoming and transparent about estate business, many executors are not.  We assist beneficiaries in enforcing their rights to be heard, their rights to property, and their rights to information.
